Gender equality measures

For all participating institutions gender equality and work-life balance are essential aspects of the appropriate environment for excellent research; the participating institutions have high standards on gender equality. Within the research unit the following measures are planned to promote gender equality:     

  • Career support training courses for the female scientists
  • Gender & diversity awareness training courses
  • Successful international female scientist will be invited to the RU workshops to give a talk about their research and describable crucial steps in their career
  • Special travel grants will be given to female PhD students and postdocs for visiting international female scientists for a span of one week to a month
  • Family support for  parents
