Fourth Workshop
The fourth MS-GWaves workshop as been very successful.
It took place from 19 to 21 March 2018 nearby Kassel.
The workshop provided a summary of the research which has been achieved within the MS-GWaves projects during the first phase but also was a kickoff for the second phase. Besides presentations showing latest and summarized results, plans for the future have been presented and discussed in plenary sessions, breakout groups and on individual basis. The workshop showed the progress which has been achieved within the MS-GWaves projects during the first phase. Furthermore, plans of the second phase as well as works which already have begun have been discussed.
External Guests have been Sharon Vadas (NWRA, USA), Mike Taylor (Utah University, USA), Hella Garny (DLR), Alexander Medvedev (MPI Göttingen) and Carsten Eden (Uni Hamburg).
Preceeding the workshop a training course for the young scientists took place wit the aim to improve soft skills.
After the scientific part, on Wednesday 21th 13:00-15:00 a career discussion with the female workshop guests and the early career scientists took place.
